Overbust Victorian style Corset custom made especially for you in white or colors with Black Lace Edging for ribbon, quilting and Embroidered flossing layered on the boning for embellishment. More colors and additions can be added. See bottom for larger close-ups.

Fabric: Core: Two layers of corset coutil, Cover: White 100 percent cotton broadcloth

Boning: 1/2" flat spring steel bones

Quilting: Machine-quilted panels of sandwiched horsehair, flannel, coutil, and broadcloth

Flossing: Hand-flossed with 100 percent cotton embroidery floss

Edging: Black lace on top and bottom edges

Piecing: Panels and gores

Decoration: Colored (or white or black) double-faced satin ribbon can be added over each boning channel plus the busk

Boning: 1/4" flat spring steel bones

Busk: 18" metal straight busk

I always try to maintain an accurate representation of whatever period I am reproducing. Every corset I make is uniquely designed and drafted for your needs. I love making unique items, so ideas not listed are very welcome. Any size and figure, from petite to robust, male or female, is welcome. Prices are by style and embellishment, not by size.

Below I will explain the breakdown of Corset Options cost so you can get exactly the custom corset you have always wanted!

Victorian Corset Style Options

The Victorian corset styles are grouped (very generally) by major aesthetic style form. The specific corset style piecing and era profile look of a particular corset is determined during the ordering process. Base price corsets (with no other added options) are offered a la carte.' Basic corsets are made from two layers of corset coutil in white, black, or tea stain (other fabric options are available below.). In the base beginning price offered here below there is no front opening, and no lacing panel included. Even at the base price, the corset will be fully functional and wearable. Add just a front opening (closure or busk) and your new corset is even suitable for tight-lacing.

Part of the base cover material price is labor required to cut and sew the lining and corset cover layers. By including cover material labor separately from the base corset price, I can provide less expensive plain corsets without sacrificing quality. I usually purchase the cover material when the corset is ordered, so what is available at any given time will vary. If you have a general or specific idea of what you want, I can provide photos or swatches of currently available similar materials. Some materials, like satin and dupioni silk, are always available in a large range of solid colors. Here are some fancier options that I also offer below:
