This lovely loster tail bustle slip with train support is custom made NEW, from a Laughing Moon Bustle pattern. This is the longer, trained version of the lobster cage bustle that adds the astonishing lovely shaping to the bustle dresses and gowns that feature dramatic trains. We use heavy-weight, bleached white muslin fabric. The lobster tail cage with train is formed by eight (8) casings, with hoop steel inside the casings for support, not plastic. A bottom set of stays, and a top set of stays, are built into the bustle to control shaping. The stays are adjusted by loosening or tightening the drawstrings (shoelaces) laced in one eighth inch metal grommets. A bustle pad comes with the cage. The bustle pad is worn under the hump for extra support when you are wearing the very heavy velvet and wool dresses. The waistline closes with a three quarter inch waistband with hook and bars. This bustle can be custom ordered in any size from a 22 waist to a 52 waist. Please email you height and waist measurements with payment.
