A sewing bird hooks to the edge of a table, and the bird's beak grips your fabric, providing a handy "third hand" for those times when you need it. Alternately, fabric may be pinned to the tiny cushion at the bird's breast. The bird measures 3 inches from beak to tail, and the assembly is just over 4 inches tall. Cast in gold-colored metal, this item has lovely detail. It comes in it's own blue velvet box, along with a written history of the sewing bird.
