This clever little Victorian hat is period correct for 1870's and 1880's. The body is done in lovely aqua dupioni silk, and overlaid with hand-dyed lavender appliques'. Coordinating trim edges the brim and the crown. The hatband is braided ribbon with lavender pearls edging the crown. The brim on the left side rises three inches, and is adorned with an additional applique'. A generous pouf finishes the back, and lush ribbons trail down behind. The crown is 4" inches tall, and the Victorian style hat measures 10 1/2 inches front to back, and 9" inches across. The inside circumference of the crown is 18 inches. Be sure to check out the matching purse for sale as well! Lovely. US shipping is $10.00.
