1890's Victorian tatted 6 inch width CLUNY lace YARDAGE Resplendent nearly 4 yards long. Very intricate, creamy ivory, cotton machine-tatted lace yardage, perfect for trimming a very fancy 1890's style fashion dress costume, pillows, Victorian textiles, ect. Difficult-to-find uncut yardage in this wide width, especially with the intricacy of the complex styling. A lady I know who hand tats 1" width needle lace told me 1" of tatted lace takes 1 hour to complete! I have renewed admiration for old laces. In phenomenal, strong condition, purchased from old store stock known to date from the 1890's-1920's. Sold in the single piece only.
Condition:
Presents very clean and elegant, no smells. I think I saw a few tiny rust colored pindots in a few areas, but overall in the very best of condition. I believe the new owner should be very pleased!
