This is your chance to have a Victorian Natural form Bustle dress costume made especially to your measurements by stellar Victorian seamstress, Christine Hall!Note by Christine:"This Gothic bustle dress costume is made entirely of black, watermarked taffeta with black silk shantung, trimmed with yards or black beaded fringe, black gimp and black lace. Very figure flattering colors and cut."Description: The Victorian bodice closes in front with 14 black buttons down to a flattering point. The front of the bodice has a dark amethyst inlay, and has been trimmed with black gimp along the sides. The bodice back has three amethyst bows at the lower edge while an black silk panel at the neckline is adorned with a beautiful applique. The 3/4 length sleeves has been adorned with a pleated cuff with black bows over black lace. The bodice is fully lined, underlined and boned with steel boning. Your Victorian dress made in this style will be made in your choice of colors. Here's an example of some color ideas.
The Victorian style skirt is a fan-tail style, and has ties in the back to cinch to the correct shape. The front has been trimmed with two rows of knife pleats, and two beautiful panels at the sides which all has been trimmed with yards of black beaded fringe. A black applique at the center front above the knife pleats. The back has three rows of black taffeta ruffles at the hem and a tied bow where it is gathered behind the knees, all ties can be untied for easy ironing.
