Lovely 1869 style paisley print cotton in blues and greens with a complimentary striped paisley print, this bustled dress accentuates the waist with the contoured, drop-sleeved bodice, with full mutton undersleeves of white on white paisley printed cotton. The bodice closes with 13 tiny white pearl buttons, plus hook and eyes in the placket. It is also adorned with 2 cameo buttons at the waistline front and back and also one at the neckline. The pretty white paisley dainty collar is trimmed with a tiny lace accent as well as the cuffs on the undersleeves. The oversized mutton sleeves attach at the armhole of the bodice with buttons under the split, lace trimmed, oversleeves. Accentuating the bodice and skirt is a two- toned blue braid and an elegant venice lace.
Condition:
The skirt has an attached apron in the front with white venice lace trim and a long train in the back which is trimmed with braiding. The bustle is comprised of two layers: a long bustled train and a shorter bustle on top. Each layer has adjustable ties underneath to achieve the degree of bustle you prefer. The skirt and bustles attach with hook and eyes. Made of 100 percent cotton.
This gown comes with it's own bustle pad! New and unworn.
