Reproduction Circa 1896 Victorian Day/Visiting Dress made of a rich copper taffeta, with a black velvet dot pattern and black taffeta accents. This ensemble includes the blouse, jacket and skirt (Hat not included) and is available for delivery now- ready to wear.

JACKET:

The Victorian jacket is double lined in black cotton, with proper boning in the seams for support, and has black taffeta lapels. The bodice jacket closures are the three tabs in front, which button on either side. The jacket has the traditional smaller mutton chop sleeves with a slight flared peplum in the back.

UNDERSHIRT BODICE:

The Victorian style blouse is made of a candlelight ivory taffeta and is lined in the bodice area. There is an ivory lace overlay on the front, the collar and on the sleeves at the cuff. Blouse closes with hook and eye down the front. The bow tie is made of black taffeta, and has a beautiful period black jet beaded applique with beaded fringe. This bow tie is removable and the Victorian style blouse can be worn without it. A simple cameo pin can be added for a different look.

SKIRT:

The Victorian skirt is a gored skirt of the period with the fullness flaring in the back, and is very flattering to the figure. It is completely flat-lined with black cotton fabric for structure for body shape.

This Victorian gown is perfect for tea or an afternoon stroll and has never been worn. You can complete the period look with a full slip or petticoat underneath (no bustle required) and your favorite black hat.

USA shipping cost is $12.00 USD. I never charge a handling fee, and only charge my shipping cost. My overseas shipping rate is very reasonable, and can be delivered within 3-5 working days. Overseas buyers please contact me for International shipping cost. Paypal only for outside US.

Condition:

A short note on the construction of my dresses... I always try to maintain an accurate representation of whatever period I am reproducing. All of my seams are pinked to prevent unraveling. I never use Velcro, fabric glue or zippers on the garments and proper interfacing is always used in the waistbands and collars to prevent rolling. I also adjust my patterns slightly to allow for more upper arm comfort than original patterns of this period provide. If a fabric easily unravels, I flat line each piece with a zig-zag stitch.
