Staubs Edwardian Rhinestone Beaded Silk Dress shoes
This is a stunning pair of unusually and heavily beaded with fiery rhinestones on candlelight silk satin dress shoes. I've never had a pair as nice as these- they are very classy and in amazing, wearable condition. The rhinestones are much more fiery and alive in person, with bluish sparks from the large stones in certain lighting conditions. The cut glass stones are a dark gray prong set with silver rochelle beads. Candlelight silk satin bodies/ heels, soft pointed toes. Leather soles, heel plates. "Staubs" is carved onto the soles, a famous NY clothing accessories establishment is still thriving in business today (In Rochester New York.). These stylish shoes were definitely the most beautifully decorated footwear in the lady's armoire.

Condition:

I consider these pretty shoes strong enough for wearing. Lightest wear around the necks, 1-2 tiny rub burrs on one silk front area (almost near nose) 1-2 tiny spots on centers, 1-2 rub burrs/ marks (the few burr marks on this pair do not go past the woven part- these are not holes, just lightest wear.), 1/2" yellowed foxed area on each large curved heel, a few very faint soil areas on upper heels. Insides have a 4 brown spots section (I've decided since these are on almost every hoe in this pattern, they are from the nails holding the heels on.). Faint soil on the inners/ inner heels. One inner liner has a few thin cracks- extremely presentable- and better than most. Soles/ heel plates have mild wear. All beads there and on strongly, 1 of the stones had been replaced at some point, but not noticeable. About a size 7 average. I know you won't be disappointed!
