FABULOUS Flapper 1920s MILGRIM I. Magnin RHINESTONE Evening GOWN
This is a STUNNINGLY gorgeous 1920's candlelight colored silk chiffon Georgette evening gown. It has magnificent, large, scrolled designs on the front and rear, that look like a gorgeous rhinestone brassiere. This elegant "Milgrim, I. Magnin, Paris, Chicago" dress has a plunging "V" front and rear, is slightly indented at the waist (not totally boxy.) hip tucks and tie, flowing silk Georgette handkerchief layers in calf length, with a flowing candlelight silk satin underslip trimmed in silk. The rhinestone are "black diamonds" (clear with darker silvered backing but because of the multiple mine cuts, they are FIERY and sparkle up a storm! Not aurora borealis.) All that and in a size 10-12 too. A wonderful gown- see all the close-ups of the amazing rhinestones!!!
Condition:
This is a fabulous gown. The outer fabric chiffon seems a little extra fine and fragile, and about up to 1 percent of the rhinestones have come off, this is mostly at the shoulders, and at the "V" points (I will also be adding a small baggie of exact matching rhinestones (20?) from another gown.) in case you wish to restore this.
