item number #MARGARET3005 Margaret's Reproduction Victorian 1870s Rose Silk and Velvet Walking Dress Repro a one of a kind gown This lovely One-of-a-Kind, Rose silk Dupioni shell, pink silk Brocade insert/faux vest and cuffs is perfect for that special Victorian day look with the soft rose raw silk Linen skirt, and burgundy velvet accent. This gorgeous two piece assemblage was made in the most romantic 1870's style. Closes down the front of the faux vest by five gold "antiqued" Victorian looking flowered buttons and has fabulous keyhole cuirass hips. The A-line skirt is made specifically for a bustle, of soft light Rose raw silk linen. The back shirt hem flows out into a plain short train, accented at the hem by a band of matching Pink Silk Brocade and Velvet ribbon. The matching buttons accent the cuffs and Peplum. Trimmed with burgundy velvet ribbon. The form-fitting bodice is completely lined in white. You can feel like royalty at that special event! Fabric: silk. One of the best reproduction gowns- ever.
