item number #MARGARET3004 Margaret's Reproduction Victorian Red and Navy Blue Silk Bustle Walking Dress one of a kind dress A gorgeous and graceful time comes to mind when I see this amazing, one of a kind Victorian silk and cotton two piece reproduction bustle dress. Sewn out of vintage silk fabric, of red background with navy blue flowers, and accented with solid navy blue cotton under skirt and lace dickey. Three-inch Venice white lace trims the elbow long sleeves, around the upper skirt apron, and lower bustle. Around the neckline, and on the Jabot there is 1" Venice white lace. The bodice closes down the front by six silver buttons with lovely flowers stamped on them, (I canít get the photos to do them justice), and hooks and eye. The bodice is completely lined and boned. The skirts join into one waistband closing down the back by four navy blue covered buttons & hooks and eyes. This dress is made to be worn over a bustle pad and petticoat in the true 1880's style (Bustle and slip not included.). Dress; 100% silk and cotton.
