item number #LISA1009 GORGEOUS 1920's Flapper Midnight Blue RAINBOW GLASS Beaded Purse with Fringe This is a stunning and heavily beaded 1920's aurora borealis, carnival glass, or gasoline glass dress purse whatever you call these great beads the true color is dark blue with multi hues, especially plum and forest green iridescence. (Not as silver as the photos depict.) The embossed, deeply scrolled (almost like filigree) old gold-toned frame, patterned heavy chain handle and navy blue silk crepe innards and black satin ruched inner trimmings are all original. This stylish fringed purse was definitely the most beautiful and usable purse in her armoire. Due to strong, NEAR MINT condition, great for a reenactor or collector. Condition: I consider this purse strong enough for regular using, but I could also see it in a collection. The gorgeous beads are all there, even on the fringe. I only see a 1/2" round tea colored spot on the silk lining (it's pretty innocuous if you ask me.) near the top part of the frame that might be able to be cleaned. That's it. Near Mint.
